私は若い頃から音楽全般が大好きで、これまでさまざまなジャンルの音楽を聴いてきました。

特に映画音楽が好きで、自然とオーケストラなどを聴く機会が増え、ここ数年はクラシックの室内楽に夢中になっています。

今では週に一度、演奏会に足を運ぶほどです。

​I have loved all kinds of music since I was young, and over the years, I have listened to a wide variety of genres.

I especially enjoy film music, which naturally led me to listen to orchestras, and in recent years, I’ve become passionate about classical chamber music. Nowadays, I attend concerts almost once a week.

 

子供の頃から壊れたスピーカーを修理するのが遊びの一つでした。

その頃から、音響に対する興味が育まれていったのだと思います。

As a child, one of my favorite activities was repairing broken speakers.

I believe this is where my interest in acoustics started to grow.

​

​そんな私が本格的にスピーカーと向き合うようになったのは、コロナ禍による演奏会の中止がきっかけでした。

演奏会に足を運べなくなり、「自宅でも演奏会レベルの音楽を楽しみたい」という強い思いが芽生えたのです。

この想いを抱いたことが、私のスピーカー製作への情熱を一層深めました。

What made me seriously focus on speakers was the cancellation of concerts due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Unable to attend performances, I developed a strong desire to "enjoy concert-level music at home." This thought deepened my passion for speaker design even further.

ある日、ふと目に入った一枚のイラストが、私に強いインスピレーションを与えました。

「いい音がしそうだ」と直感的に感じ、その瞬間からスピーカー制作への道が開けたのです。

One day, I happened to see an illustration that sparked a strong inspiration in me.

I instinctively felt, "This could produce great sound."

From that moment, the path toward speaker creation opened up for me.

最初はツキ板を使ってスピーカーを製作していましたが、もっと柔らかで自然な音が出る素材があるはずだという

直感に導かれ、最終的に「和紙」という素材に辿り着きました。

和紙の持つ温かみと柔らかさが、音に独特の質感を与え、理想的な音響を実現できると確信しました。

At first, I began crafting speakers using veneer, but I had a hunch that there must be a material capable of producing a softer, more natural sound. Eventually, I arrived at "washi" (Japanese paper).

The warmth and softness of washi gave the sound a unique texture, and I became convinced it could realize the ideal acoustics I was seeking.

そして演奏会を愛する人々からも高く評価されています。

この評価が自信となり、私は一つの大きな目標を抱くようになりました。

それは、「室内楽のためのスピーカーを作りたい」という思いです。

The sound produced by the speakers I create has been highly praised by long-time audio enthusiasts, chamber music fans, and concertgoers alike. This recognition has given me great confidence and led me to embrace a significant goal: I want to create speakers specifically for chamber music.

​

スピーカーによって音が変わるのではなく、演奏会で体験する「本当の音」を、そのまま家庭で楽しめるようにしたい。

そんな理想を追い求め、これからも室内楽を楽しむためのスピーカー作りに情熱を注いでいこうと思います。

Rather than changing the sound through the speaker, I want to deliver the "true sound" experienced in a concert directly to homes. This is the ideal I am pursuing, and I will continue to pour my passion into crafting speakers that allow people to fully enjoy chamber music.
